Social Archive privacy notice
This notice covers the Social Archive website, desktop license service, and related recovery flow. It does not replace the separate privacy notice for Firstage account features.
Social Archive is in beta. This site does not currently offer downloads or checkout.
The website
This site has no signup, Journey login, checkout, or separate analytics integration. Cloudflare Workers serves the website and its static files. Cloudflare processes request information, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. This hosting is separate from the archive stored on your computer. A first-party language preference cookie remembers the language you select for up to one year. It is not used for advertising or account authentication.
The desktop app
The app stores collected post text, dates, account details, and available insights in its local archive on your computer. Provider credentials and device proof are kept in your operating system's secure store. The site does not receive your social-account password, provider token, or archived posts.
License service
When the desktop app activates or refreshes a license, the Social Archive API processes the product key and device proof to verify the license and its active devices. The API stores a one-way hash of the product key and proof, with license and device records. The web recovery page does not activate devices or request device proof.
Recover a Social Archive key
Web recovery is not enabled on this site. Until the API route and its email delivery details are configured, this page does not send or collect recovery email addresses or codes.
Retention and deletion
The local archive stays on your computer until you remove it. The license service keeps the email associated with a license, hashed key and device records, and operational records needed to issue keys, prevent abuse, resolve requests, or meet legal duties. No automatic deletion period for these license records is published yet; contact support to request access or deletion and to ask whether a legal retention duty applies.
Service providers
The website host processes request information to deliver the site. When license recovery is enabled, the named email provider receives the address and message needed to deliver the recovery code. Social Archive does not send your local archive through the website or recovery flow.
Your requests
You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with a Social Archive license by emailing support@firstage.ai. We may ask for limited information to confirm that you control the license. Do not email a product key, device proof, password, or recovery code.
Privacy contact
Social Archive is operated by Hun Seol, the Firstage operator. Send privacy questions and requests to support@firstage.ai.
